Ideal for RTK base survey operations, the Sokkia GRX2 Base Kit GNSS Receiver features superior dual frequency antenna, Digital UHF II Radio Modem, and optional cellular technology. This multi-constellation receiver also has integrated Bluetooth capability that allows construction professionals to combine it with one of Sokkia’s data collectors, such as the SHC2500, Mesa and SHC236. This GNSS receiver can also take advantage of MAGNET Field and Office software’s real-time communication, file management, cloud storage, data collection, and other field solutions.
The Sokkia GRX2 has a highly-visible display panel with single-button operation. It also offers multi-lingual audible status notification in the field to notify surveyors of important receiver operations. This GNSS receiver features an external SD card slot for data storage and a dedicated space for a SIM card for optional cellular capability. Designed into a rugged magnesium alloy body, the GRX2 is water resistant and dustproof to IP-67. It is also shock resistant and enables continuous operation up to 7.5 hours with its detachable Li-Ion battery.
If GNSS broadcasting with radio or Bluetooth connectivity is not possible, Topcon’s MAGNET Relay service automatically connects the GRX2 base receiver using cellular technology and makes it available for up to ten rovers. For network RTK positioning and MAGNET Relay compatibility, you have the option to integrate HSPA or CDMA cellular module into the GRX2 receiver.
