The Nikon NE-102 Theodolite allows surveyors to perform different positioning techniques, such as 90-degree layout, checking angles, alignment and plumb, short-range grade work and leveling. With 5-second accuracy, this optical instrument delivers precise angle measurements and has a built-in front and back keypads, large dual LCD displays and scope illuminator for easy access to powerful functions and bright views even in low light.
Single Axis Tilt Sensor
Ideal for concrete form alignment, anchor bolt positioning, and steel column erection, the NE-102 features a superior Nikon telescope with 30x magnification that provides a clear view of the target and delivers precise vertical and horizontal angle measurements. It also has a built-in tilt sensor that detects when the electronic theodolite is out of level, optical plummet and detachable tribrach for fast and convenient setup.
Dual Display and keypad
This Nikon theodolite has five easy-to-use keys - four to perform all common functions and a fifth to control the backlit LCD displays and reticle illumination. The large keys provide one-button operation and the bright text display makes information easy to read and use on the job, allowing you to instantly convert vertical angles to percent of grade, reset the horizontal angle to zero and lock the horizontal angle displayed on the LCD while repositioning or repeating a measurement.
Exceptional Viewing in Low Light
Built-in reticle illuminator and two backlit LCD displays enable construction professionals to work inside buildings as well as in tunnels, mines, and other environments with little or no light. These features also allow you to keep working outside even in low-light conditions, such as near dawn or dusk during short days of winter.
Maximum Operation Time
The Nikon NE-102 has a higher rating of IP-56 which means it is dustproof and protected against water jets and heavy seas. Unlike other instruments that require specialized batteries, this survey tool uses six alkaline batteries to operate up to 48 hours. It also has a battery life indicator that provides a visual reminder of battery status for reduced downtime.
This Nikon theodolite package comes with a hard carrying case, adjustment pin, hexagonal key, objective cap, dust cover, plumb bob, AA batteries and 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
