The Leica Digitrace Signal Tracer 796702 helps the Digicat 550i and 650i utility locators detect a signal being transmitted through a pipe or cable that is not made of metal.

How It Works

The Digitrace's fibre-glass rod must first be connected to a signal transmitter like the Digitex 100t signal transmitter. Then, the fibre-glass rod is guided along the utility pipe or cable that you need to locate from the surface with your utility locator. Finally, the fibre-glass rod conducts the signal along the length of the utility.

The Digitrace is available in 30, 50, and 80 meter lengths to meet your needs on the job.
