Designed for all brands of red beam rotary lasers, the Johnson Level Universal Laser Detector can be used as a rod mounted or machine laser receiver. It features LED indicators, backlit LCD display, two accuracy levels and a built-in magnetic mount for use with construction site, such as bulldozers, skid steers, box blades or backhoes.

The 40-6790 laser detector features bright LED indicators and a backlit LCD display for visual reading of grade position. It also has a five-inch receiving window and 240-degree reception area for extending the outdoor range of your rotary laser.
Accuracy Levels
To meet various jobsite requirements, this laser receiver provides two detection accuracies – fine and coarse. It also comes with a removable grade rod bracket to easily switch to magnetic machine mounting.
Sound and Memory Function
If laser signal is lost, this machine control receiver will show the last signal recorded for five seconds. The Johnson universal laser detector also has a sound function for high, low or on-grade indication.
Power Saving
The Johnson laser receiver will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity to prolong battery life. The battery symbol on the LCD also blinks when the batteries are low.
