Designed for outdoor use, the Johnson 40-6535 rotary laser automatically levels on a horizontal plane. It features a manual slope function, which can be accessed with the included remote control and allows you to perform inclinations up to 8° in both X and Y axis. Ideal for determining elevations, it also comes with a laser detector for accuracy and greater range, even in bright conditions.
Horizontal Self Leveling
Self-leveling within ±5 degrees, this Johnson laser levels horizontally and has an accuracy of 1/16 inch at 100 feet. When the laser is beyond the leveling range, it provides visual and audible alarms to ensure accuracy.
Johnson Level Red Beam Laser Detector
The included Johnson laser receiver extends the working range of your rotary laser up to 2,000 feet. It features a dual backlit display, low power consumption and a mounting bracket for easily attaching to grade rods. This laser detector also has audible and visual indicators and two accuracy settings for precise leveling.

The Johnson Level 40-6535 rotary laser also features a single speed rotation of up to 700 rpm and a remote control that allows you to operate the laser up to 200 feet away.

With an IP-66 rating, this rotary laser is dustproof, water resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures. It lasts up to 28 hours using the rechargeable NiMH battery pack and up to 33 hours with four C alkaline batteries (sold separately).
