Overview
The dipper-T with Temperature Option will allow temperature profiling as well as measuring the depth of water in wells, boreholes and standpipes. Temperature readings will appear on the digital display read out in the center electronic module. Temperature will read as Degrees C only. The static level of the water will be indicated by a solid tone and a large bright LED. The dipper-T with Temperature Option includes a padded carry bag and is available in lengths up to 300ft (100m).

Well Tape Specifications
The dipper-T with Temperature uses the premium high tensile steel, easy read yellow tape jacketed in clear Kynar. The Kynar jacketing can withstand attack from hydrocarbons, solvents and other harsh contaminants. This high strength engineering grade tape is manufactured to the ASME standard of accuracy. The flexible well tape winds smoothly onto the tough Nylon reel while the dog-bone cross section prevents the tape from sticking to wet surfaces and well casings. The dipper-T with Temperature Option has a tape that is marked to engineering scale: Feet and tenths with markings every 1/100th and Meters and Centimetres with markings every mm.

Electronic Module Specifications
The electronic module on the dipper-T with Temperature Option includes a high contrast digital LCD display. The temperature of the water (or air) is highly visible in the field. A large bright LED and a buzzer on the electronic module will signal water. The dipper-T with Temperature Option works on one 9 volt battery in an easy access battery drawer located on the front of the module.

Probe Specifications
The dipper-T with Temperature Option comes standard with a 0.625” (1.6cm) diameter probe with a length of 8.5” (21.59cm). The dipper-T with Temperature Option probe has been specially designed for easy cleaning by removing any holes or recesses that would allow for build up of contaminates. The probe is of a Steel, Teflon construction. The probe has an operating temperature of 0˚C to 100˚C.

Reel Specifications
The dipper-T with Temperature Option is a well balanced unit. The stand alone, sturdy steel frame is coated on Polyurethane for durability. The Vinyl coated carry handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and easier rewinding. The reel flanges and center hub are moulded from high strength Nylon turning on a stainless steel axle, this allows the smooth running of tape up and down the well or borehole. The third hand well casing hanger and tape guide are standard features on all Heron reels.
