The design of the MetPak RG allows all measurements to be as accurate as possible without influencing other measured parameters yet provides a complete, compact, reference quality system. In addition to the rain gauge parameter the MetPak RG utilises the Gill WindSonic ultrasonic technology to measure wind speed and direction and a highly accurate barometric pressure sensor is housed within a vented enclosure. Temperature and humidity are measured using a Rotronic Hygroclip HC2-S3 temperature/humidity probe contained in a naturally aspirated radiation shield. The unit is especially suitable for harsh or marine environments. The MetPak RG weather station is supplied with digital SDI-12, RS232 & 422 outputs. The serial data output is ideal for interfacing with a WS-15A Display Unit. Data from the MetPak RG can be stored using the SpaceLogger.W10 (WindLogger) and SpaceLogger.W8.Wireless data loggers providing a compact affordable logging solution for long term data collection. Low power consumption enables this weather station instrument to be used in remote locations where power is at a premium. An electrical junction box is fitted to the mounting bracket allowing convenient termination of all electrical cables
